Charlie Sheen is dropped from child support payments to his ex-wife Denise Richards. Sheen’s request was recently accepted by the court after their daughter, Sami, allegedly moved in with him.
“I think what happened today is extremely fair,” Sheen, 56, told Us Weekly on Monday. “It not only speaks today, but it historically speaks of that same fairness.”
The actor asked the court in December 2019 to change his obligation to Richards, 50, with whom he also shares his daughter, Lola, 16.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star did not object to Sheen’s request, which led to a ruling from Judge Alexander Giza on Monday. It will be reflected retroactively to April 1, 2021.
Sheen’s attorney, Gregory Pedrick, allegedly argued that the “Wall Street” interpreter had maintained custody of the two girls since April and asked the judge to grant “zero child support” because the former couple had previously entered into a shared custody agreement. Meanwhile, a source told People Sami had been living with Sheen since July, not April.

Sheen and Richards married in 2002 before going their separate ways in 2006.
Richards was not at the hearing because she “worked out of state,” an insider told the outlet.

“Denise was never served on this court date,” the source claimed, speculating that Sheen “did it on purpose” because he knew Richards could not be present for the case.
“He filed a complaint two years ago and has continued to postpone the hearing date,” the source continued. “Denise kept asking when the date was and he blew her up. He pushed her away because he didn’t want any support records he was paying Brooke. [Mueller] impact the case after he agrees to pay both of them the same amount of child support. “

Further, the insider claimed Sheen “did not pay” Richards and still owed him four years of child support payments.
“He owes her. Plus, Lola lives with Denise. When she films, she’s with her father and sister,” the insider said. A source also told People that “Lola doesn’t live with Charlie. She lives with both of her parents and stays with Charlie when Denise is out of town. When Denise returns, Lola will be with her.
“It’s very disappointing for Denise, but not surprising either. Charlie pits the girls against their mother, which is horrible,” the insider added, saying Richard was “blinded.”

However, another source told People that Richards “has known about the court date for six months.”
Further, Sheen’s attorney argued in court that Sheen overpaid Richards’ monthly child support and said Sheen even created a $ 1.2 million trust for her daughters after she filed its initial request.
“In the spring, in early April, Ms Richards had an argument with her daughters and asked Mr Sheen to take custody of them,” Pedrick reportedly told the judge in court. “This has been the reality since April of this year.”

Sheen’s attorney went on to say that Richards owed Sheen money for his overpayment, but noted that Sheen had no intention of trying to recover the funds paid.
Last month, Sami took to social media to claim in a TikTok deleted since she was allegedly “trapped” in an “abusive” home just over a year ago.

A source told the store that Sami was living with Richards at the time she was referencing in her video.

In a statement to Fox News, Sheen apparently confirmed that Sami is now living with him.
“Sam is amazing,” Sheen said through his representative Jeff Ballard. “I love her unconditionally, as do all my kids. We’re having a blast. GED, we’re coming!”
Richards opened up about his marriage to Sheen while on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The reality TV star revealed that she doesn’t want her daughters growing up with daddy issues during an episode that aired in August 2020.

“Even though he’s Charlie Sheen, they still think of him as their father,” Richards said at the time. “I never speak badly about him and I want him to be a part of their life because I’ve met a lot of women Charlie entertained and a lot of them had father-daughter issues. And I don’t want that. it’s our daughters. “
Representatives for Sheen and Richards did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
