Actress Charlize Theron revealed last week that she was in talks to participate in the hit movie "Wonder Woman", but not in the role that one might believe.
During his appearance on the show "Watch What Happens Live" Bravo Thursday, a correspondent called to ask if the rumors were true that Theron would have refused the role of Wonder Woman. The appellant also wanted to know if she regretted not having participated in the film given her record box office success.
"I did not turn down the role of Wonder Woman," Theron said before laughing and asking host Andy Cohen if she had time to tell a story.
"It's a great example of how Hollywood slaps you when you start getting older," she said. The star then explained how she spoke to someone from "Wonder Woman" during the development of the 2017 film, assuming the conversation was talking about her potential role in the lead role.
"And that person said," No, it's for Wonder Woman's mother, "Theron remembers.
"It was the decisive moment I went through, and I was not quite aware," she added.
Theron is only 10 years older than Gal Gadot, who interpreted the role of Wonder Woman in the film. Even for a fantasy, the mother-daughter age pair does not make any sense.
The role of the mother of Wonder Woman was entrusted to Connie Nielsen, 53 years old.
