Kjell Rasten, Charo"Husband over 40, died in an apparent suicide.

The 79-year-old victim died Monday afternoon (18 February) from a self-inflicted bullet wound at her family's home in Beverly Hills, California.

Charo was home at the time and someone in the house called 911, according to TMZ. rasten was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Kjell and Charo, famous for his role in Boat of love and to be an icon of the 70's, got married in 1978 and they shared a son, Shel Rasten. You can see recent pictures of them together in the gallery.
