Chattanooga football coach Chris Malone fired for racist tweet about Stacey Abrams

A college football coach who tweeted racist slurs about Stacey Abrams is unemployed. The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga fired offensive line coach Chris Malone after reacting to the Democrats’ second-round victories in the Georgia Senate by referring to Abrams as “Fat Albert” in a provocative tweet. Malone deleted the post, but not before the screenshots were posted on social media – and the Chattanooga coach and athletic director responded with a statement calling the tweet “appalling” and “unacceptable,” and a pink slip.
