The Pokémon Company has had great success with its 25th anniversary celebrations, and not just with upcoming game releases. One high profile project has been his yearlong musical collaborations, all of which are gearing up for a “P25 Music” album release this fall / fall. Previously it included tracks like Electric by Katy Perry.
The latest track to be unveiled is performed by BRIT Prize winner Mabel; you can watch it above. Called ‘Take It Home’, it’s a relatively airy track that drops a Jigglypuff and a Pikachu into the clip; it is another clever effort.
Mabel was cited as being very enthusiastic about all of this in the press release.
I’ve been a Pokémon fan for years, so I jumped at the opportunity to join the P25 program. I had so much fun working with Pikachu and my all-time favorite Pokémon Jigglypuff for the “Take It Home” video. Hope fans love the song as much as I enjoyed working on it to celebrate Pokémon 25 years!
The Pokémon Company, along with Universal Music Group, continues to build an impressive roster of music stars for this album.
