Even if you can not attend the events, you can enjoy some of the cars.
One of the most eclectic agglomerations of auto events in the United States, Monterey's Car Week has something to offer to every type of car fan and even enough to satisfy non-drivers.
Once a year, collectors, restaurateurs, enthusiasts, automakers, curious members of the public and others descend on Monterey, California and surrounding areas, turning it into a huge party.
The week is rich in events. They include car shows, classic rallies, auctions, competitions and even races at the famous Laguna Seca. With so much to do during the week, it can be a bit of a pain and a lot of fun.
What has become one of the biggest events of Monterey's Car Week is The Quail, a motor sports rally. This year, it was held on Friday with a nice selection of classics, supercars and even concepts revealed for the first time by different car brands.
Everyone loves to hear about car auctions, some of the most wanted vehicles in the world crossing the block. Many ultra-rare classics and modern collectibles are selling at incredibly high prices, proving that very good results are being presented at Monterey Car Week.
The jewel in the crown is the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, held on Sunday. A large crowd attends this event, which is not really cheap with general admission tickets starting at $ 450 each. The event is aptly named by being stylish in every way imaginable.
The champagne flows on the pebble beach while visitors discover the magnificent rides sitting behind velvet ropes. There are not only cars on display, with many people dressed in vintage outfits or the latest fashions, this event is a complete show.
We will continue to add photos to the gallery above throughout the weekend. Check back for updates and the latest news from the 2019 Monterey Car Week.
