Chester Bennington’s widow Talinda posted a video on her Instagram account to commemorate what would have been her late husband’s 45th birthday.

In her video, the Linkin Park singer was seen dancing with her son Tyler while the PSY hit song Gangnam Style played in the background.

The musician’s widow also wrote a short message in the caption of the post to let her fans know how much her late husband meant to her and the couple’s children.

Bennington began by writing, “Happy Birthday… You would have been 45 and yes Tyler wants you to do that dance again!”

She continued, “This life without you is never easier or less painful. We miss you dearly. We are going to celebrate you in so many ways today.

The singer’s widow concluded her post by saying, “Tyler teaches the girls and me this dance will be just one. We love you forever. ‘

The former Playboy model and the frontman of Linkin Park were first linked in 2004.

The couple were set to tie the knot in 2006 and would share a 15-year-old son named Tyler, as well as nine-year-old twins Lily and Lila.

Prior to his involvement with his second wife, Bennington was married to Samantha Marie Olit from 1996 to 2005; the couple welcomed a son named Draven, currently 18, upon their wedding.

The musician also shared a son named Jaime with Elka Brand; he also adopted Brand’s son from a previous relationship.

Bennington died suddenly by suicide in July 2017, shortly after Linkin Park released his seventh studio album, One More Light.

After the death of their leader, the group took an extended hiatus to mourn the passing of their former band member, which lasted until April of last year.

That month, the band’s bassist Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell said in an interview that new music was in the works, although the members worked separately due to the circumstances of the global pandemic.

The following January, Linkin Park released a remix of their debut single One Step Closer, which had been reworked by hyperpop act 100 gecs.

The group then revealed that they will be collaborating with various other artists to give their fans new interpretations of their past tracks, in the same vein as their 2001 remix album, Reanimation.
