Peter was the man behind Chewbacca's mask in the original Star Wars trilogy, episode 3 of the series and in the new trilogy. After remaining in a wheelchair, he pioneered and took over Chewbacca again in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. He also consulted The Last Jedi in order to teach his successor.
