The Bears have kept only two quarters to Mitchell Trubisky and Chase Daniel, as they did last year, and four backs to Tarik Cohen, Mike Davis, David Montgomery and Kerrith Whyte Jr.
They kept six receivers to Allen Robinson II, Taylor Gabriel, Anthony Miller, Cordarrelle Patterson, Riley Ridley and Javon Wims.
The 53-man squad consisted of four tight ends: Trey Burton, Adam Shaheen, Ben Braunecker and converted tack Bradley Sowell.
The Bears have kept eight offensive linemen. Their starting lineup is left tackle Charles Leno Jr., left-guard Cody Whitehair, center James Daniels, right-back Kyle Long and right tackle Bobby Massie. The three reserves are Ted Larsen, Rashaad Coward and Cornelius Lucas III.
Six defensive linemen made the final roster in Akiem Hicks, Eddie Goldman, Bilal Nichols, Roy Robertson-Harris, Nick Williams and Abdullah Anderson.
The outside linebackers are Khalil Mack, Leonard Floyd, Aaron Lynch and Isaiah Irving.
Internal linebackers include Danny Trevathan, Roquan Smith, Nick Kwiatkoski, Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Josh Woods and Kevin Pierre-Louis.
The Bears have kept ten defensive backs: Prince Amukamara half-corner, Kyle Fuller, Buster Skrine, Kevin Toliver II and Duke Shelley; and the safes Eddie Jackson, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Deon Bush, DeAndre Houston-Carson and Sherrick McManis.
The Bears have retained four of their five rookie picks in Montgomery, Ridley, Shelley and Whyte. Denmark, the only choice of the seventh round of the state of Valdosta, was an exception.
No unprepared rookie made the final alignment.
Of the 53 players, 48 have been acquired since Ryan Pace became managing director of Bears in 2015. The exceptions are Fuller, Leno, Long, McManis and O'Donnell.
The Bears can form a 10-man training squad on Sunday and can also claim players who have been sidelined by other NFL teams. In previous seasons, the Bears have generally formed their training team with the players that they have released during the final cups.
