A father of six school-aged children in Chicago told Fox News on Friday that it was a “balancing act” to homeschool his children as the powerful Windy City teachers’ union continues to demand that schools remain closed due to the pandemic.
Willie Preston told “America Reports” that while the pandemic is indeed something to be considered, watching its local schools remain closed as institutions in other cities open with caution is unfair to parents.
The Chicago Teachers Union recently threatened to strike if schools tried to force teachers back to class.

Preston said his wife did most of the home schooling while both working their regular jobs to support the family.
