CHICAGO (WLS) – A 34-year-old Chicago police officer was shot in the left shoulder on Saturday night in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, police said.

The policeman's injury was not life-threatening and he was in a good mood, Supt. PCD. Eddie Johnson said late Saturday. He was in critical but stable condition at Stroger Hospital.

A woman, who was the subject of the search warrant, was arrested during the shooting. She allegedly opened fire by a back door while the officer was trying to enter.
