Chick-fil-A has experienced an outage in its nationwide credit card system, according to an update on its Facebook page.
The issue was caused by an outage at the fast food restaurant’s third-party supplier and lasted about an hour before being resolved. Chick-fil-A was unable to process credit or debit card transactions during the outage, and processing of mobile transactions through the company’s app was also limited.
“We apologize for the inconvenience caused, but, at this time, we only accept cash payments. This issue affects Chick-fil-A stores across the country,” read a notice posted on the Facebook page of ‘a restaurant in Frisco, Texas.
