Chad Henne was forced into Sunday’s divisional round playoff game for the Kansas City Chiefs when Patrick Mahomes injured his head and left the game.
Henne, the 11-year-old veteran quarterback who was making his first career playoff appearance, was mocked on social media when he threw a bad interception at Cleveland Browns defensive back Karl Joseph in the fourth quarter. But he’s become the hero of the Chiefs’ next ride.

In 3rd and 14th place with two minutes to go, Henne scrambled for 13 yards, almost diving for a first down to seal the game. In the next play, Henne threw a short pass to Tyreek Hill to get the first and ultimately win the match.
Kansas City won, 22-17.
Mahomes tweeted about Henne after the game. #HenneThingIsPossible was trending on Twitter.
The veteran quarterback appeared to admit after the game that he isn’t much on social media.
