KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The Kansas City Chiefs have ruled wide receiver Tyreek Hill out of Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders, but they hope he'll be back soon after.
"I know that there is speculation there over time [Hill won’t play]But it's really a week-to-week injury, "said coach Rick Burkholder.
Hill is injured at the collarbone and sternum during Sunday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Burkholder said that the procedure to reduce the sternoclavicular joint had gone smoothly.
"Vital organs and vessels are not damaged," Burkholder said.
Hill spent the night at the Jacksonville Baptist Medical Center and returned Monday to Kansas City, where he began his rehab.
"He will be monitored throughout this period when he will go through the re-education phases, like any other injury," Burkholder said. We will be doing tests with him to make sure that the joint stays in the proper anatomical position. "& # 39;
