Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has said wide receiver Josh Gordon could make his debut for the team in their week five game against the Bills and it looks like a good bet Gordon will be on the field Sunday evening.
NFL Media’s Taylor Bisciotti reports Chiefs promote Gordon to their active practice roster. They’re unlikely to make that move without intending to have him play a role against Buffalo.
Gordon signed with the Chiefs after being reinstated from suspension by the league late last month. He hasn’t played a game since adjusting for the Seahawks in Week 15 of the 2019 regular season.
Gordon’s only catch in this game was 58 yards and hope for big plays like this is why Gordon gets another shot in the NFL. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes thinks luck will work and it looks like we’ll get our first glimpse of Gordon in a Chiefs uniform very soon.
