The Kansas City Chiefs announced Friday that the team has signed a contract extension for wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Hill (5-10, 185) played 47 games (30 starts) in three NFL seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs (2016-18). He recorded 223 catches for a total of 3,255 yards (14.6 on average) and 25 touchdowns. Since 2016, he has 44 receptions, his best in league, 25 yards or more. Hill ran 63 times for 477 yards (7.6 on average) with four touchdowns. His career stats include 84 punt returns for 1,009 yards (12.0 on average) with four touchdowns as well as 14 punt returns for 384 yards (27.4 on average) and one touchdown.
The native of Pearson, Georgia, was named to the Pro Bowl during his three seasons in the NFL. Hill initially joined the Chiefs as the first of the two fifth-round picks (165th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. He played collegially at West Alabama.
