Chiefs vs Browns final injuries: Clyde Edwards-Helaire is ‘day in and day out’

Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs issue an official injury report leading up to the next game. The chefs welcome the Cleveland Browns in the NFL Divisional Round at 2:05 p.m. Arrowhead time on Sunday.

  • Two chefs were led outside for their divisional round robin – linebacker Willie Gay (ankle) and wide receiver Sammy Watkins (calf). Learn more about Watkins’ injury here.
  • Three chefs are officially questionablerunning back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle), cornerback Rashad Fenton (foot / ankle) and tight end Deon Yelder (groin). Edwards-Helaire, who hasn’t played since week 15, only practiced as limit participating Wednesday of this week.
  • Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid on this practice: “A few days ago [Edwards-Helaire] moved really well, and then we kind of backed it up. He still does stuff, but not with the band. So, let’s see how he does it here. We’re taking it literally day to day, so we’ll see how it plays out.
  • The Browns have listed four players who are questionable for the game. Cleveland players to watch are right tackle Jack Conklin (hamstring / knee) and linebacker BJ Goodson (shoulder). Both had limit practice status on Friday. Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski said the Browns plan to watch Conklin for the next 48 hours.
