A few notes

  • Safety Tyrann Mathieu does not appear on the injury report as his continued presence on the reserve / COVID-19 list does not count towards a place on the chiefs list.
  • Only one Kansas City Chiefs player has been tried outside for the game: Austin Blythe Safeguard / Guard Center (Sports Hernia).
  • Frank Clark (hamstrings) and defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi (hip) stayed limit participants in practice all week; so they got the questionable status.
  • Defensive coordinator for Steve Spagnuolo Thursday Comments on Clark: “Frank is really like Tyrann, where you haven’t practiced for a long time. You want to be careful about getting it into the game, so we’re going to be careful with the number of games. We’re optimistic we can have it for Sunday, but we won’t know until the end of the week. Hopefully there is no setback.
  • Wide receiver Mecole Hardman (hip), who was limit Wednesday, practiced fully on Thursday and Friday and is good for the game.
  • For the Browns, Odell Beckham Jr. (knee), defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (illness) and center JC Tretter (knee) are all questionable for the game.
  • The main injury to watch out for is Beckham, whom Spagnuolo called the “ultimate game destroyer” on Thursday. Head Coach Kevin Stefanski on Beckham: “I think he was limited [Friday] So we’re going to use the next 48 hours with all of these guys and figure out who’s playing and who isn’t. We will notify you 90 minutes before the game.
  • Beckham, who tore up his ACL last season, has yet to participate in any full contact work heading into Sunday’s game.
  • Clowney does not have COVID, according to the team. He returned to training on Friday in a limit capacity after completely missing on Wednesday and Thursday.
