A few notes

  • Six Chiefs missed practice to start the week – running back Le’Veon Bell (knee), wide receiver Tyreek Hill (hamstrings), right tackle Mike Remmers (back), running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle), linebacker Ben Niemann (hamstrings) and wide receiver Sammy Watkins (calf).
  • Kansas City has previously expressed that after winning the No. 1 seed in the AFC, it will rest the starters on Sunday. This will likely include many if not all of the players listed above so they can be in full health for the playoffs.
  • Linebacker Damien Wilson (knee) returned to training for the first time since Week 13. He was limit. Andy Reid also mentioned that linebacker Dorian O’Daniel (ankle high) has returned to practice but he won’t appear on an injury report until he’s activated from the injured reserve.
  • The Chargers listed 10 out of practice players on Wednesday. We will see how their status evolves during the week.
