A few notes

  • Two heads were limit Wednesday – Offensive lineman Austin Blythe (abdomen) and defensive tackle Khalen Saunders (butt). Blythe was no surprise, as he finishes recovering from his sports hernia surgery. Saunders was a bit of a surprise, and someone to watch as the chefs leave this week. Saunders played 11 defensive snaps against the Browns.
  • Chiefs Safety Tyrann Mathieu missed Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns after being activated from the Reserve / COVID-19 roster on Saturday. It was Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s decision, he revealed after the game. Since Mathieu is not on the report, he is currently in full swing for Sunday.
  • Defensive end Frank Clark (hamstring), who was also ruled out of the team’s game against the Browns, was a full attending Wednesday, a great sign for his look on Sunday night football.
  • Three of the Ravens’ key players failed workout Fully Wednesday – Wide receiver Marquise Brown (ankle), left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) and defensive end Derek Wolfe (hip / back). Cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey (back) and Jimmy Smith (ankle) were limit.
  • It should be noted that because the Ravens were coming out of a Monday night game, their practice on Wednesday was just a walkthrough. For that reason, Thursday’s official report might provide a better indication of who might be available against the Chiefs on Sunday.
