American rapper Mac Miller, famous for his retro hip-hop and his songs about his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande, has died as a result of a deadly mix of drugs and alcohol, announced Monday the office of the coroner of Los Angeles.
] The 26-year-old musician, whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on September 7, and the cause of his death was not established in the meantime of an investigation.
The coroner stated that Mr. McCormick had died "for intoxication by a mixture of drugs": a powerful opiate body of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol had been found in his body.
Pennsylvania, this ex-boyfriend of pop star Ariana Grande, had released her latest album "Swimming" a few days before her death and was ready to begin a new tour.
"I loved you overnight, in which I met when I was 19 years old and I will always be," wrote Grande in an emotional Instagram post after his death.
"We've talked about it so many times I'm so angry, so sad I do not know what to do."
McCormick spoke openly about his addiction and his music often dealt with his depression and drug use
