The second part of the season, the group of survivors, old and new, continues to face the consequences of events that have occurred in the last six years. Since Rick's disappearance, many of these characters have become strangers and, in a sense, strange. What they do know is that they face undeniable danger. Soon, they will realize that the world beyond does not work as they thought. Group rules and forms of survival no longer guarantee their safety.
A new threat has come to them and they quickly discover that it is different from any threat they faced before. They will begin to wonder what they think they see and what may seem normal in this post-apocalyptic world could be more disturbing and scary than when the apocalypse erupted. The only thing they can be sure of is that the stakes are large and numerous.
