The Netflix digital series and film platform announced Tuesday a new feature with which it seeks that users do not stop watching episodes, always disconnected.

Two years after launching the feature that lowers episodes and movies to store and play disconnected devices, now has an option called "Autodescargas".

The idea is that subscribers who follow a series can automate the download of new chapters on the phone, and their removal when they have been seen.

The function "Autodescargas" ("Smart Downloads", in English) will automatically take care to delete the episode that has already been completed and download the next one.

These functions are ideal for those who devour series, for example, in public transport. In this way, they will be able to skip the download chapters at night to have them available in the subway or train in the morning

The function will be available on phones and tablets with the system Android operating system. , and it is expected that in the future, it will also reach iOS.

"You like, we work," said Netflix Tuesday in a statement. "We understand that the sooner you move on to the next episode, the better."

Part of the activity of Netflix, competing with other streaming services such as Cablevisión Flow (Grupo Clarín), Qubit, Fox Play and HBO Go, is based on obtaining of your subscribers spend 140 million hours a day on your platform. For this, it offers complete seasons of series with "hook" to see ongoing, such as the paper house, Breaking Bad and House of Cards.

But also, this launch reinforces its mobile strategy, after this year improved its applications with short trailers in vertical formats that emulate the mobile experiences of social networks.

In Latin America and Asia, in particular, the download option has been very successful among its mobile users. The company said last year that, thanks to this feature, it was responding to the demand of "young people who like to drop things on their phones, as well as those who go to work without having a reliable signal in the train".
