It has been 16 years since the death of Joe Strummer the legendary British musician who revolutionized all rock through The Clash . Obviously, and rightly so, the heirloom and figure of the one originally born in Turkey refuses to disappear, especially now that there are announcements of new material.
And it is precisely announced the launch of a new collection, which will be titled " Joe Strummer 001 ", and will include unpublished material of the composer, both from his work as a soloist, his post-The Clash activity with Mick Jones (another of the illustrious London group) and his stages by The 101ers and The Mescaleros .

While the album will have its next publication September 28 this one already shows a first advance. This is " London Is Burning ", one of the last songs performed by Strummer before his death, with The Mescaleros. The subject had already had an earlier version under the name " Burnin 'Streets ", included in the last album of Joe Strummer & The Mescalero " Streetcore ] "(2003).
