The son of former President Michelle Bachelet, Sebastián Dávalos, included a complaint in his series of badaults against those whom he accuses of insulting because of the Caval affair.
This time he pointed to the current Minister of Labor, Nicolás Monckeberg, against whom he had lodged a complaint for defamatory charge as a result of statements that the MP for the time had been brought to the press in 2015
In February of the same year, Monckeberg argued that "Sebastián Dávalos was to give explanations on the purchase and sale of land in Machalí because these operations had been carried out while he was an official " after the resignation of the defendant in his duties to the socio-cultural direction of the presidency.
In its complaint, the defense of Dávalos contends that the Minister's statements were based "on false facts and on the imputation of crimes that had never even existed", as a result of which would have been Monckeberg's goal for the position he held and to be the son of ex-president Michelle Bachelet.
For this reason, he also asked the owner of the Trab and, furthermore, that the case be headed by the national prosecutor, Jorge Abbott.
This lawsuit is in addition to other lawsuits brought by Dávalos, including under-secretary of mines, Pablo Terrazas, and the deputies of Renovación Nacional. Diego Paulsen and Marcela Sabat, next to the Channel 13 request.
