The filming of It 2, the Argentinian Andy Muschietti, has already begun

Andy Muschietti returns to the world of the accursed clown
in IT 2. For that it will meet the club of the losers in the continuation that already began to roll in Canada and it will be able to be seen in the cinemas the 5 of September of 2019.

Now the sequel will bring teenagers together, 27 years later – when the evil returns to the city. Based on Stephen King's novel, Muschietti directs a screenplay by Gary Dauberman ("IT", "Annabelle: The Creation"). In the production they are, his sister, Barbara Muschietti, Dan Lin and Roy.
