Warner Bros. is working on an animated film that will tell the story clbadic story of Dorothy's dog vision.
Warner Bros. announced that he wanted to tell the story of The Wizard of Oz from a different angle than the clbadic film of 1939 and many later versions.
For this, the study confirmed that works on an adaptation of the children's book Toto: The amazing story Dog-Gone of the Wizard of Oz, a written history by Michael Morpurgo and illustrated by Emma Chichester Clark who was released in 2017 and fundamentally raises the well-known story of the Wizard of Oz from the point of view of Dorothy's dog, Toto.
In the book, the dog is the protagonist and guides readers through the story.
For the animated film Warner Bros. has already hired screenwriter Mark Burton, known for films like Madagascar, Wallace and Gromit: The Battle of Vegetables and Gnomeo and Juliet. While Jared Stern, who has participated in such films as LEGO Batman and LEGO Ninjago, will officiate as executive producer with Winsor Yuan, known for short films Silk and Lost Boy Found.
