In the teaser, we see that something is happening clearly. There is not much dialogue, but we can see three people (actors Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill) that we do not know have seen anything out of the ordinary in various environments, such as when they are watching the laptop or are with friends. In one case, a new pizza comes out of nowhere and in another, "something" turns a newspaper into a comic. At the end of the teaser, we see Whittaker give a welcoming smile as the new doctor.
