Chip and Joanna Gaines celebrated the launch of their Magnolia Network over the weekend with an elaborate feast in New York City.

The former HGTV stars were in the Big Apple last week to promote the launch of their new Lifestyle Network, the television company they started working on shortly after stepping away from their hit series. on home improvement, “Fixer Upper” at the peak of its popularity in Season 5.

On Sunday, they wrapped up the launch weekend at the Polo Bar – a Ralph Lauren restaurant in Manhattan, where they shared a photo of themselves dressed in nice clothes as they walked into town on a plate of burgers, fries and of seafood. The hilarious image shows Chip holding a cursor towards the camera and smiling as Joanna does the same – only instead of a smirk, she bites a second cursor in her other hand.

“There’s no one I would rather eat a whole platter of sliders with after a weeklong dream of starting @magnolianetwork. Thanks everyone for celebrating with us this week!” Joanna captioned the post on Instagram.

The star went on to thank his “incredibly talented and creative team” for launching the network after about two and a half years of development.

“To all the storytellers in this network, thank you for trusting us to share your stories with the world, it’s an absolute honor,” she added. “We can’t wait for you to see everything we’ve been working on over the past two years. ”

She concluded her article by noting the method of delivery that the new network, in partnership with the streaming service Discovery, will have in the future. Fans of the old “Fixer Upper” series can expect new episodes of Magnolia Network shows to roll out every week with a new show introduced every month.

In a separate Instagram post, Joanna described the network as a place full of “inspirational stories” of “risk takers, creators, course changers, dreamers and learners”.
