They have built a business empire together and recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary.
And throughout their journey, Chip and Joanna Gaines agree on one thing; quitting smoking is not an option for them.
The couple opened up the key to their long-standing relationship in an interview with Access Hollywood on Monday, revealing that they never considered parting ways.

“Jo and I are no slackers,” said Chip, 46. “Throwing in the towel is not something that really comes to mind.
“Divorce or separation is not really an option for us. And so somehow this little foundation has served us really well because things have been really tough, we’re not perfect and we have problems and trial and error like everyone else … We are here forever. Chip explained.
The author recalled a particularly difficult period, during the real estate crash of 2008 and the years that followed.

The couple have five children; Drake, 17, Ella Rose 14, Duke 13, Emmie Kay 11, and Crew, three.
The couple began their careers in building and designing homes in Waco, Texas, and now own several businesses, including the Magnolia Market at the Silos, a Magnolia Table restaurant, and a luxury bed and breakfast in Waco.
The enterprising couple signed a deal with Target for their own line of home items, launched a Magnolia Journal magazine, and published books on design, gardening, and kids.
They kicked off their TV careers on HGTV in 2013 with Fixer Upper, which documented them transforming homes into their chic farmhouse style.

Since the end of the hugely popular show’s five seasons, the couple are now embarking on a slew of exciting new content on their own network.
Magnolia Network, will launch on July 15 with its new look Fixer Upper Welcome Home, as well as new shows like Restoration Road and Homegrown.
After delays caused mainly by the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple and the network announced that they will launch an app with digital content on July 15, while the TV channel will not debut until January 2022.
Magnolia Network, which replaces the DIY Network, will feature original programming, new seasons of some of the older DIY Network shows, and all past episodes of HGTV’s Fixer Upper.
