Chloe Bennet revealed she tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday, after waking up on Christmas morning with a ‘high fever and unable to breathe’.

As the Agents of SHIELD star, 28, announced her diagnosis via Instagram Story, she noted that several of her relatives are also battling the virus.

“I’ve been tested, and I’m positive for COVID-19… it’s been a tough week to say the least. Several members of my family are also infected, we all fought together. We’re still not in the clear, but for now, we’re doing… okay, ”she revealed.

She continued, “ I share this because I want to repeat to anyone who still doesn’t take covid seriously, please, please, f ** king do. Covid sucks. It really sucks. I pride myself on staying healthy, I have always worn a mask, my social distances, and I took all the necessary precautions and I am still VERY sick.

Despite severe symptoms and exhaustion, she reminded over 2.6 million subscribers that she was “one of the luckiest.”

“ I am young, healthy and hardworking about my health and this virus has always knocked me down and continues to do so. Even trying to write this is exhausting, ”she said.
