Chris Brown is in hot water with the Rihanna Navy.
Brown, 30, thwarted Rihanna's fan base by leaving a comment on a photo the singer released Thursday of modeling the look of her lingerie line, Savage X Fenty.
"I want to be the lamp," Brown wrote – a reference to an accessory in the shot – styling it with a sneering emoji. (The comment – with its original answers – seems to have been deleted since.)
Fox News was able to recover some of Rihanna's angry fans' responses before Brown removed his comment. "Stay away from herrrr !!!!!" wrote one person. "You have something to say – nerves," commented another person. "Get out of here," said one individual. "LEAVE ONLY," said another person.
This is the second time that Brown has gone from his most famous ex-gram to letting some mediocre emoji comments: In November, fans rallied in the same way after leaving a "red" emoji on a photo that Rihanna posted from herself modeling herself. a different set of Savage x Fenty underwear.
Rihanna and Brown were related 11 years ago, but broke up after beating after a pre-Grammy party. He pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to five years probation.
Since then, he has been in trouble with the law for various reasons, ranging from attacking a photographer (these charges have recently been dropped) to bringing home an illegal monkey from Fiji. He was also charged with rape in January and reacted by suing his accuser for defamation and calling him "liar" in an Instagram message eventually deleted.
