The longtime host of the reality TV franchise “The Bachelor” will not be returning to guide the next “Bachelorette” in her search for love, the producers announced on Twitter Friday night.
Former “Bachelorette” stars Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will speak, Warner Horizon and ABC Entertainment said.
“As we continue the dialogue on achieving greater equity and inclusion with ‘The Bachelor’ franchise, we are committed to improving the BIPOC representation of our team, including among the ranks of executive producers,” said the communicated.
The statement does not say if Harrison will host the seasons to come.
The statement said Warner Horizon and ABC Entertainment are supporting Harrison “in the work he is committed to doing.”

Lindsay was the first African-American “Bachelorette”. Matt James of the current season is the first Black “Bachelor”.
Harrison apologized earlier this month in an interview on “Good Morning America”.
“It was a mistake. I made a mistake,” said Harrison, “GMA” co-host Michael Strahan. “I’m not a perfect man, I made a mistake and I own it.”
Later in the interview, he added, “I’m sorry for Rachel Lindsay and the black community.”
