The original Saigon Bodyguards, which was released in Vietnam in 2016, follows a pair of bodyguards attempting to retrieve the next one at a large corporation who was kidnapped under their watch.

One bodyguard is more carefree while the other is more severe. It hasn’t been announced who will play which character, but Pratt’s story in Parks And Recreation suggests he would be a logical choice for the less rigorous bodyguard.

Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck, who co-wrote What A Man Wants and worked on HBO’s Veep, are attached to writing the script.

Pratt will also produce Saigon Bodyguards through his company Indivisible Productions, with Mike Larocca and the Russo Brothers for their production company AGBO.
