Chris Taylor diagnosed with a fractured forearm

Dodgers utility Chris Taylor was diagnosed with a broken forearm, according to a club announcement (via Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times, on Twitter). He will be replaced on the active list by Matt Beaty.

At the moment, it's unclear what kind of absence the club can expect from Taylor, a changing defender and regular offensive producer. The initial imaging did not reveal the rupture; whether good, bad or indifferent is not obvious.

With the arrival of the trade deadline in two weeks, the Dodgers will have the opportunity to search for reinforcements. Corey Seager and ONE J. Pollock are both back, reducing the pressure. The organization is as full of depth as ever, with an average pre-field perspective Gavin Lux among the players waiting in the wings in the upper miners.

The Dodgers will not worry too much for a stretch without Taylor. With a commanding division commander, the club can focus on deadlines to shape their playoff lineup. Unless the injury is a little more serious than it seems at first glance, Taylor should have time to recover and resume his normal rhythm by October.
