Chrissy Metz DENIE that she is engaged to beau Bradley Collins after wearing a wedding finger ring

She got fans to speculate after she was seen with a wedding finger ring on.

But now Chrissy Metz has cleared up the confusion and revealed that the sparkler was just a honeycomb-shaped ring that her boyfriend Bradley Collins bought her for Christmas.

“ I’m obsessed with bees, ” the 40-year-old This Is Us actress said on SiriusXM’s The Covino & Rich Show on Tuesday, although she didn’t explain why she was wearing the ring. on her wedding finger.

According to Chrissy, the ring was an innocent gift and not a sign of an impending marriage. “So let’s be very clear,” Chrissy began taking the ring and holding it in front of her webcam.

“ So Bradley bought me – I’m so glad you cleared this up … So we went to make crystal for a friend and I love crystals too, but I was like, wait, that’s a ring he bought me for Christmas, ”she explained.

Anyone close enough to get a good look at the ring probably wouldn’t have mistaken it for an engagement ring due to its distinct pattern and lack of stones.

“It’s a honeycomb. I am obsessed with bees. I love bees. I’m like, who thought it was an engagement ring, first of all ?! And like what ?! she said laughing.

The singer complained that there was more important reporting to focus on than her eventual engagement.

“It’s certainly not a slow day in the news. Let’s talk about real things. Okay? Much like what’s happening in our country as opposed to a ring that I could wear. I’m like “all of you, my God!”

“Anyway, thank you for clarifying that. It’s a honeycomb ring and I like it a lot, but it’s not an engagement ring, ” she said definitely.

On Monday, Chrissy revealed on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, that she met her boyfriend Bradley on the Bumble dating app.

She said she intentionally created a sparse profile ‘because I thought it kind of eliminated people who maybe wanted to talk to me for some reason other than a real reason.’

She recounted seeing a man who was ‘a budding writer’ who had a ‘This Is Us’ cup of coffee, which she thought was ‘too strange’.

But she and Bradley hit it off almost immediately, and it didn’t hurt that they unwittingly shared the same social circle.

“ You like to think the best of every situation, but it’s interesting that Bradley and I all have the same friends – he knows all the same songwriters, he is [been] in music publishing for 16 years, ”she said. “ And so we’ve been in the same rooms, but we’ve never met … I feel like it was meant to be, of course. ”

Chrissy confirmed their relationship in October on Instagram.

Chrissy fans will have the chance to see the ring in person on Thursday, January 14, when she makes an appearance on Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune while wearing it.

The non-profit organization provides meals on weekends to children who receive free meals under the federally funded free and reduced meal program during school days.

Although their food needs are met on weekdays, many children still need help finding stable meals when they are out of school.
