Chrissy Teigen has defended her newfound love of horseback riding after she was criticized for sharing videos of her hobby amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Over the weekend, the 35-year-old model told fans she started horseback riding as part of her therapy after her pregnancy loss last year.

“My therapist says I need something that I do just for myself because I have absolutely nothing right now lol. Today begins my journey into the horse world. Hope this guy likes me. he is so beautiful and seems lazy, I love it ”, she tweeted the Saturday.

But one critic lambasted the celebrity for saying she had ‘nothing’ during a pandemic when many people couldn’t even put food on the table.

“Many people are unemployed and struggling to feed their families in the midst of a pandemic. Maybe now is not the perfect time to say you have nothing, so you bought a horse for fun, ”the reviewer tweeted.

Teigen then clarified what she meant in her original tweet.

“A lot of you really misinterpreted this tweet and I guess it’s about me,” she wrote. “I didn’t say I had nothing, I said I didn’t have anything that I do for myself. A conversation with a therapist. A hobby. Because I lost a baby. And I discover myself. And I didn’t buy a horse. But oh my god, what if I do?

When another troll again responded by saying that Teigen must be “poisoned by wealth and privilege,” she written back, “Why are you guys reading this so much?” boredom. “

And when the troll kept beating the model, she retaliated, “I get it. What do you want from me, an essay on me, thinking of you? This is my Twitter. Am I talking about me?

Teigen suffered pregnancy loss in October 2020 after experiencing complications.

The following month, she revealed that she was sober for four weeks.

Teigen and her husband John Legend are the parents of their daughter Luna, 4, and their son Miles, 2.
