The negative reaction apparently didn’t deter Chrissy from continuing to post on the tour. After her above responses to critics, she then shared more photos and footage from her trip, including a video of their family watching a rehearsal outside the Washington Monument.
“lmao we got lost on the way to checking the sound, but i just met these real f-king heroes,” she tweeted, featuring a picture of herself and John with National Guard troops. More than 25,000 troops will be in Washington in light of the riots at the United States Capitol on January 6.
John is one of the myriad of musicians taking part in “Celebrating America,” a prime-time special live on January 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET / PT, following Joe Biden’s swearing-in as the country’s 46th president. Justin timberlake, Demi Lovato, Bruce springsteen and Katy Perry are some of the other scheduled artists.
