Chrissy Teigen again opens up about the tragic loss of her stillborn son Jack as the due date approaches.
The 35-year-old kitchen mogul sat down with Ellen DeGeneres on her hit talk show and revealed that losing the baby was a ‘transformative’ experience she ‘still comes to terms with’.
During the segment, which airs Monday, Teigen also said she found a silver lining in the trauma by admitting, “ in a way, it really saved me. ”

Ellen, 63, praised Chrissy for her courage in sharing photos from the hospital when she lost Jack. The heartbreaking black-and-white footage captured the model and her husband, John Legend, in the throes of grief.
“Looking at these photos now, it looks like so long ago. And also, of course, everything was so blurry, ” Chrissy revealed to Ellen. “ Even thinking about it now, I’m still in therapy about it and I’m still coming to terms with it. ”
She continued, “I have maternity clothes, and there are things I bought for my eighth and ninth month. So it’s hard because he would be born this week, so you look at these things and you have these constant reminders.
Teigen suffered from pregnancy-related complications and had been bedridden, before being hospitalized for excessive bleeding from her placenta when she was around five months old.
