Christian Yelich achieves the best home performance since Macaulay Culkin was left behind at Christmas.

Yelich continued his love affair with Miller Park on Saturday night, scoring two more home runs to get the Brewers to a 5-0 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, breaking with a run of three straight defeats.

Yelich has been amazing at home since joining the Brewers in an exchange with Miami prior to the 2018 season. In 87 games (85 starts) at Miller Park, he has launched 35 homers, including 13 of his hometown in 13 home games this season. Yelich has eight home runs in six games on this home stand.

These 13 home runs equaled Prince Fielder's franchise record during each month, set in May 2007. Yelich also recorded 31 points in March / April, another Brewers record.

Hyun-Jin Ryu, the Dodgers starter, scored the first two tries for the Brewers, but also led directly to the other three. With Lorenzo Cain in second place with a double in the seventh end, the Dodgers intentionally defeated Yelich, a southpaw, despite the presence of a southpaw, Caleb Ferguson, on the knoll.

This move brought Ryan Braun back into the right-winger's plate, entangled in a 3 for 38. But Braun, who has the flair for the spectacular, forced the Dodgers to pay by crushing a three-point home run to center-left to open the match. Braun's homer was his 1815th career success, placing Cecil Cooper third on the list of franchises of all time.

Right-hander Chase Anderson also played an important role in the Brewers' victory as he stepped out of the paddock to allow Freddy Peralta, who was initially injured, to take his place. Anderson managed a fragile first run of 34 shots to clear the Dodgers in five innings, leaving no success after Joc Pederson opened the scoring with a single.

Anderson was hoping to start the season in the rotation, but had problems with his pitching mechanics during spring training and was assigned to the penguard task. He was disappointed by this decision, but seized the opportunity by taking advantage of this unforeseen opportunity.

FIVE ATTACKS

Always flexible launch planDirector Craig Counsell said he had not decided if Anderson would take another start. The launcher of Monday's place, left vacant when sending Corbin Burnes, also remains undecided. "The day off (next Thursday) gives us some flexibility to make a decision (with Anderson)," Counsell said. "We have not made a decision on what will happen next. We will start with the changing spots. "

Peralta on the way back: Peralta played some catch on Friday as he tried to bounce off the inflammation of his shoulder and it was good. The Brewers hope his time on the casualty list will be short. "He had no trouble throwing a little light. So that's a good sign, "Counsell said.

Go like a glove: The Brewers came in the evening with only five errors for the season, the least in the majors and a series of 10 consecutive games without any. Mike Moustakas, who, according to some, would be a disaster if we went from third to second, did not make any mistakes in 17 games in his new position. "We thought he could play second base," Counsell said. "It's always a work in progress. I think it will improve over the course of the season. We work hard to play doubles three or four times a week, to continue to progress on its level of comfort. He handled the situation well and I think things went as planned on our side. "

Moustakas leaves the game early: Moustakas started third in the match, his third start, but left the match in the seventh inning with a malaise in his right hand. He made a dive of a sharp player to his left by A.J. Pollock in the fourth, and could have stuck his hand in the ground while doing so.

Yelich at the sizzling pace: The 13 circuits of Yelich in the first 22 games of the Brewers are the most successful for players since 22 games since Alex Rodriguez of New York scored 14 in 2007. Rodriguez won his third trophy AL MVP this season.
