Lola and Libby have a puppy and it's Christian Yelich's fault.

Muskego's children attended Saturday's Brewers game with a sign created just an hour before the first pitch, carrying the message "Yelich hits a homerun and my dad buys a puppy!" season – was not going to turn the feat in the third, was it?

Well…

"Who would have thought he would have hit one in the first game?" Said the mother of the children, Jessica Labodda, who was recovering concessions with Libby, 4, at the time of the blast.

Father Michael, on the other hand, frantically incited Lola, aged 6, to show her sign in her seat.

"She was like," What happened? " "He did not connect right away."

Yelich became the first player in the history of the Brewers and the first player in the title most valuable to return in each of the first three games of the season. The moment turned into a viral opportunity on social media, since Lola and Libby were photographed by the Brewers before the match.

Yes, Michael and Jessica had already discussed the possibility of bringing a new puppy home.

"(Lola) is a type 1 diabetic, so we were hoping to have a medical dog, but a gold scribble will do the trick," Jessica said. "We will start looking."

A new puppy will not be the only furry friend of the house. The family has a Maltese rescue named Henry, aged 11 – yes, named Henry Aaron and resembling Hank the Ballpark Pup, although Henry was named before Hank became a celebrity.

I guess the family will have to be back for Bark at the Park Night. It's July 16th, for those who wonder.
