Christina Haack is casting shade on Tarek El Moussa after their heated argument broke on set last week.
PEOPLE confirmed on Wednesday that El Moussa, 39, lashed out at Haack, 38 – to whom he had been married for seven years – while filming their hit show HGTV. Flip or Flop.
He allegedly made a verbal tirade after he didn’t like the way she signaled to him that she and the crew were ready to film the next segment, according to TMZ, who was the first to report the conflict. The point of sale details that he compared her to his fiancée, Sell the sunset Star Heather Rae Young said he loved watching her fail and said, “The world knows you are crazy.”
“Look at me, look at me, look at me. It’s called winning,” El Moussa reportedly shouted at Haack, saying he had “done” her and calling her a “failed loser”.
Now, it appears Haack is subtly responding to her remarks, letting the world know that she is “the boss” on set, via her Instagram Stories.

On Thursday, the mum-of-three posted a series of videos from the set of the HGTV show, which is currently filming for its tenth season. In the first video, she writes “Nice day on the Flip or Flop together ”, as the camera shows all of the crew walking around – with El Moussa visibly absent.

In the next video she appears to be filming a scene with a contractor and says, “Okay, that looks great, so since Tarek isn’t here, I’m saying we’re carrying the tile all behind the vanity.” The team member replies, “Okay, you’re the boss,” and Haack nods, pointedly says, “I’m the boss,” and walks away.

The next videos adopt the same structure: Haack exclaims that El Moussa isn’t here to make decisions on the Costa Mesa, Calif., The house they are renovating, so they’re going to do it his way. Each time, a member of the crew tells him: “You are the boss. “

While it is not clear whether these videos were taken during filming on Wednesday after the explosion was announced, El Moussa told fans on Instagram on Tuesday that he and Young had arrived in St. Barth for a vacation, he is therefore currently absent from the board.
Last week’s showdown isn’t the first time Haack and El Moussa, who are both executive producers of Flip or Flop, have argued on set. A source said TMZ that there were times when they stopped filming together and just shot their scenes separately.

Shortly after hearing news of the row, Haack took to Instagram to share a post praising her new boyfriend Joshua Hall, calling the Austin-based real estate agent his “Ride or Die.”

Next to a photo of the couple sitting in a car, Haack wrote: “Some people are lucky enough to have forever for the first time, but no one should be ashamed if things don’t work out and no one knows this. that happens behind closed doors. “
Haack went on to tell his followers to “remember this before making judgments and assumptions,” adding that “this woman / mom is always lucky that this man chooses me.”

Haack went public with his relationship with Hall in early July, writing in part on his Instagram: “When we met last spring, the synchronicities hit us so hard and fast that they were impossible to ignore.”
“We’ve had a solid few months getting to know each other and I loved every second,” she continued, adding at the time, “So yeah ‘another relationship’ and guess what. I’m 38 – I’ll do whatever I want. “

Haack and Hall began dating shortly after Haack’s divorce from second husband Ant Anstead. She and Anstead have been married for less than two years and have a 22-month-old son, Hudson London.
El Moussa got engaged to Young in July 2020 and the couple are currently renovating a new home together in Newport Beach.
Haack and El Moussa married in 2009, separated in 2016 and finalized their divorce in 2018. They continued to film. Flip or Flop together since and each also has a solo show on HGTV: Hack’s Christine on the coast and that of El Moussa Turnaround 101. They share their daughter Taylor Reese, 10, and their son Brayden James, 5.
