Christina Ricci is expecting a little bundle of joy.
The “Casper” star, 41, announced on Instagram on Tuesday that she was pregnant with her second child, posting an ultrasound photo.
“Life keeps getting better. 🎉 ”, Ricci captioned the black and white photo.
Friends immediately flooded the actress’s comments section with greetings and congratulations.
The father of Ricci’s second child appears to be hairstylist Mark Hampton.
The famous hair guru also posted a roll of ultrasound photos to his Instagram with the same caption as Ricci.
Although Ricci and Hampton haven’t been very public about their relationship, the “Addams Family” star recently called Hampton her “favorite person.”
In a birthday tribute for the stylist in July, Ricci wrote, “Favorite person, beautiful human, bearer of all happy, magical and good things ♥ ️ ♥ ️ ♥ ️ I love you ♥ ️ ♥ ️ ♥ ️ ♥ ️
this next year is going to be the best yet ♥ ️🎉. ”
It’s likely the couple already knew they were expecting a child at the time, so it’s possible the “next year” line was a nod to that.
This will be the couple’s first child together. Ricci has a son with her ex-husband James Heerdegen, with whom she recently divorced very controversially.
In January, the “Monster” star filed an injunction against the 42-year-old cinematographer over an alleged domestic battery incident.
In April, Ricci was granted full custody of their 6-year-old son, Frederick. Heerdegen has visiting rights.
It is not known when Ricci and Hampton first started dating.
A representative for the actress did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
