Two months after actress Christina Ricci announced that she was pregnant with her second child, she made it official with her boyfriend Mark Hampton.
Ricci and Hampton tied the knot this weekend before the baby arrived. The couple shared news of their Saturday nuptials on Instagram on Saturday night.
Ricci, 41, from Santa Monica who grew up in Montclair, is nominated for Emmy and Golden Globe. She stars in the upcoming Jersey-centric Showtime series “Yellowjackets”.
Hampton, 37, is a hairstylist who has worked with Ricci many times.
“Mr. and Mrs.,” Ricci captioned photos of the couple taken in Los Angeles, displaying plenty of heart and church emojis.
In August, Ricci announced her pregnancy by posting photos of an ultrasound.
“Life keeps getting better,” she said.
This is Ricci’s second marriage. She filed for divorce from cinematographer James Heerdegen in 2020 after obtaining an emergency protection order against him. Ricci had reported an alleged incident of domestic violence at their Los Angeles home.
The actor accused Heerdegen of assaulting her in 2019 and other allegedly abusive behavior during the lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ricci and Heerdegen have a 7 year old son, Freddie.
The New Jersey-born talent, who began as a successful child actress in films like “Mermaids,” “Casper,” “The Addams Family,” and “Now and Then,” attended Morristown-Beard School. and Montclair High School. She went on to star in films such as “Black Snake Moan” and “Buffalo ’66”, and will appear in “The Matrix Resurrections”, which is due out in December.
Ricci stars in Showtime’s “Yellowjackets” with fellow Jerseyan Tawny Cypress as well as Melanie Lynskey and Juliette Lewis.
In the series, which begins on November 14, the actors play a group of friends who were part of a football team at their fictional high school in New Jersey and had to fight to survive in the wild after a plane crash. . The trailer for the show shows someone showing off a Star-Ledger business card.
