The latest update to Chrome for iOS will let you secure your private browsing tabs with Touch ID, Face ID, or a password (via MacRumors). When the new functionality is deployed to you, you can activate it by accessing the settings menu, then pressing “Privacy”, then “Lock private browsing tabs”. I just updated the app and the option wasn’t there for me so you might have to wait a bit before you can activate it. Google first revealed it was testing this new privacy feature in February.

The update brings a few other handy features to Google’s mobile browser, including the ability to take a full page screenshot of a website. You can use it by taking a screenshot with your device-specific button combination, tapping on the screenshot preview, and then tapping on the “Full Page” tab that will appear, depending on your device. 9to5Google. (I don’t have this feature yet either.)

You can now download Chrome 92 from the App Store.
