The Chromecast with Google TV launched last year with a special bundle that provided six months of access to Netflix and the device for a reduced cost, and now a similar offer is rolling out with HBO Max.
As of today, Chromecast buyers with Google TV can get their streamer in addition to three months of HBO Max for a bundled cost of $ 65. The new plan is worth around $ 95 in total, HBO Max costs $ 14.99 per month. So, if you were already planning on getting both the device and the streaming service, that saves you around $ 30.
We have confirmed with Google that this bundle offers the HBO Max tier without ads rather than the ad-supported $ 9.99 / month offer that debuted in June. While this is certainly a good deal, it should be noted that it pales in comparison to the Netflix package.
