Regarding refunds requested via Google Play, the 15-minute decision has always been a function for me. Knowing that you can get your money back quickly if you have a problem with a paid app or an in-app purchase has always been nice. However, Google has now increased the estimate of waiting for the refund decision to four days.

The Google support page has recently changed the wording of the refund estimate from "You will usually get a decision within 15 minutes" in "It may take up to four business days to 39, a decision is made ". Technically, this represents an increase of about 38,000% or more if these four business days overlap on weekends or holidays.

In terms of exactly why the change was implemented, a large number of claims were probably automatically refused without a human being seen, which could be a good thing. Personally, however, I have only had good experiences; I recently purchased an IPA at $ 40 for a coding application for my car in Google Play. I found that it was barely working with the rotten OBDII Bluetooth adapter that I had, and I got a refund within minutes. However, other staff members were not so lucky. We therefore hope this indicates more in-depth and in-depth reviews of future claims.
