The Cleveland Browns closed their training facility on Wednesday after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19. The team announced that contact tracing is underway to identify potential high-risk close contacts.
This is the sixth time the facility has been closed for contact tracing since November 13. Five players on the active roster have tested positive for the coronavirus in the past three weeks, forcing the team to shut down its facilities several times to allow contact tracing.
Star defensive end Myles Garrett was activated off the reserve / COVID-19 roster on Tuesday, paving the way for his return to the Cleveland game on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Full-back Andy Janovich was also activated off the reserve / COVID-19 list this week.
