With the addition of Odell Beckham Jr., the Cleveland Browns are likely to spend most of the 2019 regular season on prime time television.
Since the beginning of the league year on March 13, the Cleveland Browns have been one of the most discussed teams in the NFL. Not only do they have Cleveland's attention, but they have the attention of the national media.
With the additions of Odell Beckham Jr., Kareem Hunt and Olivier Vernon to a formation that already counts Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry and Myles Garrett, the Browns now have high expectations in 2019.
They are no longer the inhabitants of the base of the northern region of the AFC in the hope of getting out of the basement. Instead, they are considered favorites to win the division next season and play in the playoffs.
Because they have an alignment built to compete for a playoff spot and great personalities in Mayfield and Beckham, the Browns will likely be featured on prime time TV often next season. And it will not be just the Thursday night football slot at which Cleveland is used to. Instead, it's more than likely that they end up at Sunday Night Football and the afternoon slots for CBS and FOX.
The Browns first discovered the CBS afternoon spot in last season's final against the Ravens. Cleveland was one of the league's most prominent teams at that time and the Ravens were fighting for the division title. It was therefore a match of choice for many eyes.
As the Browns prepare to try to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2002 next season, they will be one of the biggest leagues in the league. With the big names on the list, fans across the country will want to see what the Browns will be able to do on the field.
Cleveland will also play against some of the best teams in the league next season, adding even more intrigue to the season.
While the official schedule for next season should be released in the coming weeks, here's a look at the five Browns games that will have the best chance of being the games of the week in prime time.
