Once again … leftist presenter Brian Stelter, along with many other CNN “reporters”, has covered New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
When PolitiFact deflected the blame on Governor Cuomo for his role in thousands of deaths in state nursing homes, citing a lack of “hard evidence” that his controversial tenure was heavily to blame, Stelter proposed not to not go back.
The left-wing CNN expert failed to mention Cuomo’s alleged cover-up of the disturbing death toll that sparked an FBI investigation amid bipartisan appeals to strip him of his emergency powers.
Stelter and the governor’s brother, CNN presenter Chris Cuomo, (to name a few) have made an unprecedented effort to downplay and shy away from Democratic controversies, with the far-left network giving to its developments little to no airtime – and giving Chris Cuomo is free to have friendly, comedic talks with the scandal-ridden Governor.
An explosive development in the scandal involving the New York Democrat emerged last week when an Albany-based watch group directly linked Cuomo’s order to more than 1,000 additional deaths of residents. The state’s death toll among residents of nursing homes has exceeded 15,000 since the start of the pandemic.
PolitiFact editor-in-chief Angie Drobnic Holan told CNN’s in-house expert Stelter on Sunday that Cuomo’s directive for nursing homes to accept patients who had or were suspected of having COVID- 19 likely made no “significant difference in COVID deaths.”
